Sarah Hayley Orrantia

Sarah Hayley Orrantia (born February 21, 1994) is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She is most well-known for portraying Erica Goldberg on the ABC comedy show The Goldbergs. She was part of Lakoda Rayne, a country pop girl group that was formed by Paula Abdul during the first season of The X Factor. In 2015, she released "Love Sick" which was her debut single. The debut EP, The Way Out, was released in May of 2019. Orrantia began singing when she was nine years old , and began her professional training at the age 12. At 13, she wrote her first song. At the age of 15, she made her debut EP of cover songs and started writing songs with her songwriter Jamie Houston who at the time was famous for his songs for the three Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia was a contestant in summer 2011 on The X Factor. Orrantia was selected from an online YouTube entry and was awarded four votes of approbation from judges during the live auditions in Seattle. While she initially auditioned as one-woman show, in "Hollywood Week", she and three female singers were grouped together for the rest of the auditions. The group was named Lakoda Rayne. They were eliminated during the fifth week of the live shows.
