Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a presidential hopeful as a host of American television at MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of the show The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show in order to release their own independent project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on programs such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) and CNN (CNBC). Ball is engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball credits her ongoing interest in politics to her experiences as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was working there. She witnessed how it affected the people in that country and developed an appreciation for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district during the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She hosted the MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. In May 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works for Democratic causes.
