Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29/03/71, is an South African television journalist and war reporter. She was a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politcally slanted story on the 2012 Benghazi attack "the most regrettable mistake of my 10-year watch." In 2019 she was hired by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative-leaning media firm. In January 2020, she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She informed Fox News in March 2022 that they had been "dumped". Logan worked during her studies as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years, she decided to branch out into freelance journalism. She was appointed as an editor/producer, reporter and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN employed her to report on such incidents as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
