Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born on April 18, 1967, in the United States, is an actress, producer, writer, and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) and Coyote Ugly(2000) and The Cooler(2003) The History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008 Prisoners2013, Grown-Ups2010, and Lights Out (2016) are some of her films. Bello was a major player on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and with other prominent roles, including Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath as well as Jacqueline Sloane in the first season of Goliath, a Special Agent on NCIS between 2017 and 2021. Bello was born on 18 April, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello was a student of politics at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting through several New York theater productions after she completed her degree. Bello as well as Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. Bello wrote about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the Labels we Give Ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 in 2015).
